Human Development Design for Impact Lab (HUDDIL)

HUDDIL is an interdisciplinary lab that seeks to make research useful through product and service development. We seek motivated students who want to be involved in fast-paced, impactful project-based learning.

Specifically, we are seeking students for the 2017-2018 school year for a project in collaboration with the Centre County Women’s Resource Center. The project seeks to evaluate and disseminate the Penn State Athletes Take Action (PSATA program). The PSATA program is an anti-bullying and anti-teen dating violence program. In a team, students will:

  • Use human-centered design techniques to redesign and package the PSATA program so that it may be used in other school districts
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative evaluation data

Visit huddil.org/projects/healthyrelationships for more information.

We seek students from any discipline. Research credit and honors thesis mentorship is available. Please send inquiries to Emily Waterman at eaw237@psu.edu.
